On September 27 – Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan – a minute of silence was observed at 12:00 in all sports venues of the 3rd CIS Games.
The football match between the youth teams of Azerbaijan (U-16) and Tajikistan (U-16), held at the Gabala City Stadium, also began with a minute of silence. In addition, the memory of the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence at other sports arenas as well.
The participants and guests of the 3rd CIS Games paid tribute with great respect to the cherished memory of Azerbaijan’s heroic sons.
