On the eighth day of the 3rd CIS Games, competitions in 9 sports will be held.
Fencing competitions will continue in the Ganja Sports Palace.
In addition, the sports arena will host volleyball games. The women’s national team of Azerbaijan, located in group B, will face Uzbekistan, and Russia – Kyrgyzstan.
The matches for the third and fifth places in football will be held at the Gabala City Stadium. The national teams of Belarus and Tajikistan will compete for the bronze medal. Another match will be held between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
At the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex in the weight categories 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 57, 60, 63, 66, 70, 75 and 80 kg semi-final matches of male boxers will take place.
Individual, pair and mixed badminton competitions will continue at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex.
The final matches of gymnasts in individual and synchronized programs will be held at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex.
Archery competitions will continue at the Khankendi City Stadium.
Wrestling competitions in weight categories 40, 45, 46, 51, 53, 60, 61, 71, 92 kg will be launched at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex.
Karate competitions will begin in the Mingachevir Olympic Center “Kur”.
