Today, the archery competitions of the III CIS Games concluded at the Khankendi city stadium.
After the awards ceremony, athletes and delegation members took part in a cultural tour to the ancient city of Shusha — the pearl of Karabakh.
During the trip, guests visited several famous sites of the city, including Shusha City Square, the legendary “Khan Gizi” spring, the Shusha Fortress, the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, and the famous Jidir Duzu plateau. The tour offered participants insight into the rich history of Shusha — the cradle of Azerbaijani culture and the birthplace of prominent poets, musicians, and artists.
Visitors noted the city’s unique atmosphere, where every stone seems to hold the memory of Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage.
The tour concluded with a group photo set against Shusha’s breathtaking landscapes. The evening continued with a festive dinner held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
