The opening ceremony of the 3rd CIS Games was extremely spectacular. This is not only my personal opinion, but the opinion of all those who attended the Ganja Stadium. It is worth a lot to include the main historical moments of the development of the Republic of Azerbaijan in such a short period of time and present it to the audience in such a colorful way. Everything was organized at a very high level.
This was stated by Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Nurlan Seytimov, who took part in the meeting of the Council on Physical Culture and Sports of the participants of the “Agreement on cooperation of the member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of physical culture and sports” in Ganja.
According to him, the peculiarity of these Games lies in the fact that they are held not in one, but in seven cities of Azerbaijan: “The 3rd CIS Games will leave behind a great legacy in the form of sports infrastructure that will serve the public for many years. Of course, this is also a great contribution to the CIS sports movement, which Azerbaijan has made by organizing these Games”.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games taking place from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities across Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi.
