Today at the Sheki City Stadium, the chovgan competitions continued as part of the 3rd CIS Games.
The Azerbaijan national team defeated Kuwait 5-0. With this victory, our team secured first place in the group and advanced to the semifinals.
Six teams are participating in the chovgan tournament. Group A includes the national teams of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kuwait, while Group B consists of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals.
The Azerbaijan team will play their semifinal game on October 4.
