Today, rowing competitions kicked off at the “Kür” Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir as part of the III CIS Games.
On the first day of the competitions, Azerbaijani athletes won four medals.
Alimurad Hajizade claimed a silver medal in the men’s single kayak 200-meter race among athletes born in 2009–2010.
Amil Ramazanov earned two bronze medals — in the men’s single kayak 200- and 500-meter races among athletes born in 2007–2008.
In the men’s double kayak 200-meter event among athletes born in 2009–2010, the duo of Ivan Vorobyansky and Huseyn Hasanov finished third in the final race.
