Badminton competitions were held at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex as part of the 3rd CIS Games.
Azerbaijani athlete Leyla Jamalzade won the silver medal in the individual competition, losing to Russian Marina Tarasova.
It should be noted that earlier our badminton players won 6 bronze medals. Thus, the Azerbaijani athletes finished the tournament with 7 medals.
