Today, as part of the 3rd CIS Games, the final boxing matches were held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
Azerbaijani boxer Gulyar Huseynova (48 kg) won the gold medal, defeating Russian Daria Gavrina.
Aysel Farajova (46 kg), Amina Tagi (50 kg), Jamila Muradli (54 kg), Aynur Ismailova (60 kg) and Fidan Bakarova (63 kg) lost to their rivals in the final and took second place.
Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), Zahra Mammadova (52 kg), Sema Abbasova (66 kg) and Mirrugeya Azerpour (57 kg) won bronze medals.
Thus, the Azerbaijani women boxers finished the tournament with 1 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
It should be noted that the boxing competitions will end on October 5.
