Today, the football competitions of the 3rd CIS Games concluded at the City Stadium of Gabala.
In the final match, the national teams of Azerbaijan (U16) and Russia (U16) faced each other.
After a thrilling encounter, Russia secured a 3:2 victory. Goals for Russia were scored by Klim Denisov, Ivan Kuzmin, and Ratmir Lukyanov, while Azerbaijan’s Ali Bashirov scored twice.
Thus, Russia’s national team became the football champion of the 3rd CIS Games. The Azerbaijani team won silver medals, while Belarus claimed bronze.
