Preparatory work is being completed at the arenas where the 3rd CIS Games will be held.
Athletes will compete for medals in 23 sports at 12 venues. In order to hold the games at a high level all measures in the arenas were taken for the convenience of the teams, media representatives and spectators.
So, in each venue there are information centers, media meeting points, press rooms and medical rooms. In preparation for the competition, the specific features of each sport were taken into account, and sports and other equipment conforming to international standards were installed.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will take place from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities across Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Ganja City Stadium. Both events will start at 19:00 local time.
