Today, the Russian national table tennis team arrived in Azerbaijan as part of the Russian delegation to participate in the 3rd CIS Games.
At the Ganja International Airport, the delegation was met by representatives of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd CIS Games, as well as the media.
In a statement to reporters, the coach of the Russian women’s national table tennis team, Sergey Brusin, shared his expectations for the upcoming tournament:
” We were looking forward to visiting hospitable Azerbaijan.
We spent the preparation for the games in Bronnitsy near Moscow. We will try to show everything we are capable of.”
Table tennis competitions will be held at the Olympic Sports Complex in Gabala.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will take place from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities across Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Ganja City Stadium.
