The draw for the football tournament at the 3rd CIS Games has been completed.
The tournament, which will include teams from six different countries, is set to take place at the Gabala City Stadium.
Following the draw, the teams were divided into two groups: Group A includes Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, while Group B consists of Belarus, Russia, and Uzbekistan. The group winners will face off in the final match, the runners-up will play for third place, and the teams finishing third in their groups will compete for fifth place.
The final match of the tournament is scheduled for October 4.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will take place from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities across Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Ganja City Stadium.
