A test football match was held at the Gabala City Stadium as part of preparations for the 3rd CIS Games.
The match was organized by the Organizing Committee of the 3rd CIS Games. Teams of younger age groups from Gabala Football Club faced each other in the test game.
Such test competitions held ahead of the 3rd CIS Games aim to check organizational matters, test technical details, and thoroughly review safety measures.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will take place from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities across Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Ganja City Stadium.
Football competitions will be hosted at the Gabala City Stadium.
