A cycling event dedicated to the upcoming 3rd CIS Games was held in Ganja.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan together with the Cycling Federation and the Baku City Circuit Operating Company, with the support of the Executive Power of Ganja City.
A total of 50 participants took part in the event, including professional athletes from federation and cycling enthusiasts. The route started at the Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum and finished at the Heydar Aliyev Park Complex, covering a distance of 10 kilometers.
The 3rd CIS Games will be held from September 28 to October 8, 2025, in seven cities of Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol, and Khankendi. The opening and closing ceremonies will take place at the Ganja City Stadium. As the CIS Sports Capital of 2025, Ganja will also host competitions in six sports.
