Boxing competitions within the framework of the 3rd CIS Games started today at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
Azerbaijani boxer Aysel Farajova (46 kg) faced Alexandra Kutsikova (Belarus) in the 1/4 finals. She defeated her opponent 5-0 and advanced to the semifinals.
Another Azerbaijani boxer Jamila Muradli (54 kg) defeated Nigora Yusupova (Tajikistan) and also reached the semifinals.
In the category up to 63 kg, Hagverdi Hasanov defeated Bogdan Shashlykov (Belarus) in the 1/4 finals (3:2) and advanced to the semifinals.
