Today, the final fights of the boxing competitions took place at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex as part of the 3rd CİS Games.
Azerbaijani boxers Garash Rahimov (46 kg), Ali Aliyev (48 kg), Ali Abasly (52 kg), Shahin Aslanov (60 kg) and Safdar Mammadzade (+80 kg) won gold medals.
In addition, Ali Rushanov (46 kg), Aykhan Hasanov (50 kg), Raul Heydarli (57 kg), Aflatun Ismiyev (57 kg), Togrul Guliyev (60 kg), Hagverdi Hasanov (63 kg), Adil Zalov (70 kg), Shukar Aliyev (75 kg), Ismail Veliyev (80 kg) won the bronze medals.
Let’s remind that yesterday our female boxers finished the tournament with 1 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Thus, Azerbaijani athletes won 24 medals at the tournament.
